Volume two of robot is in the mail… it will be riding the Rainbow tomorrow.

    • Riding the Rainbow – I pictured the rainbow bridge in Mario Kart. But you’re talking Reading Rainbow, huh? In retrospect, those music cues were overboard.

I have volume two of Robot but haven’t read it yet. The Robot 1 short by the Strawberry Marshmellow guy scared my off of Strawberry Marshmellow, which I am now convinced is perverse, but my comic book guy swears it’s totally innocent.

Well you are lead to believe its totally innocent. That’s what’s so disturbing about all manga if you look at them the wrong/right way. (almost feel like mailing you some IchigoMarshmallow doujins now….) But I honestly thought that short in Robot was relatively innocent… but that might show you where I am at with sequential art.

The short with the robot swallow was perverse though. Glad that continued in Vol 2.

    Older shows

I’ve just downloaded this episode. The feed on your webpage doesn’t allow me to subscribe to episodes older than #020a. Is there any workaround that doesn’t involve downloading the episodes one by one?

    Thank you.

That’s a simple question with a very complex answer involving RSS, livejournal, and feedburner. In the short term, the answer is “no,” and you should look in this directory and download them one at a time.

Another, ruder answer is that I could zip the files into one nice big archive for you to download, since you hate clicking on things, I guess. If you really want to save time most of those older episodes are pretty crappy. Just download episode 13, that’s the best one.

I’ve been talking about the webmaster about a long term solution; one option is that we could put all of last year’s shows in their own feed in the iTunes store. Technically you’d still be downloading those episodes one by one from the iTunes store.

If you’re concerned about getting back episodes into iTunes, you can just import them into your library, and they’ll probably be sorted into the right place.

I’m working up a FAQ for this very thing, since it’s come up several times.
