Wow Erin, you meet me, but it’s not important enough to mention? GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!

Kidding. XD. I bet more than anything that your trying to erase the moments of me in your mind. Have fun with that.

And bashing small children? For shame. I mean I left loads of voice mail, which earned me a song, and I don’t remember you guys laughing at it, while recording. Or maybe you did. Oh well. they were retarded voice mails. Anyway, it’s a small boy basking in your awesomeness. Don’t turn the awesomeness into jerkiness.

    • This show was the first part of a very long recording. However, I didn’t actually talk about meeting you in the show, there was a lot to cover! I wrote it down to talk about the next time we record, along with a bunch of other stuff I forgot to mention.

You should probably know that I’m a giant jerk. That said, we thought this kid’s voicemails were really cute. Actually we make fun of everyone who calls us, including you!

Toonami is also the name of a CN spin-off network in the UK. They seem to only play a handful of shows, fortunately including “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.”

first of all, Jack in the goddamn Box is great and you plebians just don’t fucking know.

second of all, i will stand by Night Mare for all goddamn time. yes, almost everything Anthony has written is garbage, but for pure worldbuilding, Night Mare is fucking genius.

    so take it.

  4. there are books other than manga????

that was a funny message. Still I think you gotta credit anyone who reads nowadays. I once stood behind a kid in a video store who I heard explain to his sister that, “all those cool characters from the movie ‘League of Extraordinary Gentleman’, where like, OMG characters from books like, written a long time ago”. Another reason I love Netflix.

I would’ve guessed Erin worked on Venture Bros. So do we get to have a stupid contest to guess Erin’s show? We could win stolen stuff from the show after it closes shop.

Kid Robot is awesome. I just learned about them on the wired blog (or somewhere).

    • Re: there are books other than manga????

I wish I worked for Venture Brothers!!

It’s not a contest – if you email me I’ll tell you what show I work on. That’s always been the case.

Lord, if only you people knew what show she worked for XD. If they did Erin, your awsome level would go down a bit.

Oh, so you did make fun of my voicemail? Good. I even made fun of it.

        • Re: there are books other than manga????

What are you talking about?! My awesomeness level would only go up! I work on a good show (not Ed, Edd and Eddy!)

We didn’t make fun of your voicemail in this recording. We didn’t answer any more emails yet, including Jack’s other seven calls.

Depends on what you thin kof the show. Whcih, needs to stop making jokes about my state.

            I know you didn’t in teh recording….

            Any Trick or Treaters?

Perhaps you should also have told Jack that most of the manga publishers in Japan also publish regular books and magazines (including Del Rey’s affiliate, Kodansha)…it’s pretty common over there, but here, it isn’t…Del Rey is probably the first major U.S. book publisher to print comics in any form (as you said).

doinkies has some regular books from DR as well, in particular the Temeraire series. ^^

I absolutely despise Vic, of course when this podcast was put out I probably had no idea that he existed though my general annoyance with him started when he tried to play himself off as Clamp’s representative to the good old USA where he was trying to convince people that Clamp didn’t like the buttsecks and so shipping Kurogane/Fai was morally wrong. (It really made me want to send Vic the last volume of RG Veda, though he’d probably say that they were cousins.. or something)

Being an almost thirty person, I remember the Xanth novels, though I didn’t really ‘get’ them. I was too busy reading Terry Prachett and Mercedes Lackey (though I DID like Piers’ Anthony’s Incarnatons of Immortality, until it became too preachy)
